Being in the ministry for almost forty years, I have seen God move in ways I would have never believed, unless I saw it with my own eyes and experienced it in my own life. I have been blessed to write three books to document that journey. My reasons were not to boast, but to leave a legacy and testimony to our grandchildren who wanted to know who their grandfather and grandmother were. I also wrote them specifically to encourage people to know Jesus is real and true to His promises. My wife Sandy and I threw ourselves head first into trusting Him with our lives and the life of our one year old son to prove His truth. My three books document that proof along the way. However, my third book I believe, came out the best testimony of how He has guided my life, even when I didn’t know it. My wife and I wanted to have this third book, “Choice Servants and Saints” published in all ways to bless as many people who are seeking meaning in their lives and one of the best ways is to have an audio book. This presented a new challenge.
Being in the professional business myself for 20 years we wanted to find a reader that would do it as if I were reading it. Learning over the years that there is what’s called an anointing on a person’s life that comes from God, to bless their work. We
doubted we could find a reader that would do it as close to my own reading to honor our Lord in an audiobook. We went through 20 samples of readers and were about to give up when we believe the 21st reader was God’s answer to our prayers. I know this may sound a little “religious “ for some, but listening to William Savage we both looked at each other and said, “He’s it!” Thank you God, and we have been thankful ever since. He brings life to the words he is reading and draws the listener into the written word, so they can actually experience my writing. Personally I listen to my book at least once a week to remind myself of the life God has given me because I trusted Him. I also believe God sent William Savage to us to read my book, because I trusted God, even if it took listening to 20 readers before William Savage.
My hope it that many, many more people will be blessed by Mr. Savage’s talents in the days ahead.

I couldn't be happier with the way you represented the characters from my novel 'One Drunkin Monkee'. Deciding to get my book in audio form was a big decision. Having not listened to audio books myself I took an informal poll with "younger" people and asked their input. I was surprised at the number of them that used audio books over traditional paper copies. (My daughter is an avid audio listener) Convinced this was the way to go I had my publisher put together a list of 12 candidates. The style was as varied as the colors in a box of crayons. Some readings sounded like the morning crop report, and one actually sounded like an old chemistry teacher I had. From my point of view there wasn't any life in their presentation and totally not what I wanted. That was until I listened to your audition, WOW! Finally, someone that gets me! I couldn't ask for a better narrator. Your passion for this work comes through brilliantly. You gave my characters life and realism, almost as if you were channeling them right off the pages.
